i’m NICO (he/they) and i’ve been rping for around 6 years now! (not all on tumblr though) i’m 22 . i've been roleplaying on tumblr since spring of 2020.
ACTIVITY medium to high on this blog, i am in school full time so that will be my priority. that being said, this blog is high activity.
SELECTIVITY so here’s the thing, if i follow you i want to write with you (even if i’m a bit of a coward when it comes to making the first move) i will only write with mutuals, if someone i do not follow likes a starter call or sends me a meme i will check out their blog and see if i’m interested in following them and proceed from there.

THE BASICS general rp etiquette applies, don't god mod, please cut your posts, ect. it's always okay to turn memes into threads, memes have no expiration date.
i am pro villain, pro moral greyness all in the context of fiction and i am pro critical thinking in all contexts. i will not judge anyone's character based on the actions of their muse(s), only their words/actions ooc.CONTENT this blog will sometimes contain possibly triggering content, however it will all always be appropriately tagged with [ trigger ] tw! nsfw is tagged with osha violation !

PERSONA alice comes from a difficult past and can sometime come off as unfriendly or mean. she puts up walls to keep people at a safe distance. she struggles to make friends due to this. she is intelligent, especially in creative aspects but tends to see no value in herself in situations that require her to be what is typically thought of as ‘smart’. she is reckless, tending to laugh in the face of authority which often doesn’t mesh well with her work. it's hard to bring the walls she puts up down, however with the people she lets in, alice is fiercely loyal and kind. she enjoys baking and musicals, but she’s also willing to stand up for what she believes in and put her life on the line. she thinks of herself as a hopeless romantic, but keeps people distant because she knows that in her line of work dating doesn’t really work out.

TRIGGER WARNINGS! implications of verbal & physical abuse, alcoholism

alice sarah gallagher is the youngest daughter of the late laurie gallagher and connor gallagher. she has an elder sister named violet. violet is five years older and always somewhat of a tomboy. alice was a bit of a mischievous child but she played the princess when she got caught. she loved to bake with her mom and sister, listening to musicals like wicked and rent. she, her sister and her mother were almost inseparable because of the fact that connor was always away on business trips. he was an arms dealer under the guise of being a member of the army. he retired from the ‘army’ when alice was about nine years old, or at least she thought he did. in that time, alice had begun taking gymnastics. her sister was a soccer player and she’d considered trying that, but she had to be different, as sisters do.when alice was eleven, her father went to meet with one of his old work buddies at dinner and brought laurie with him against his better judgement. it was a setup and laurie got caught in a hit and run, meant for connor. he was heartbroken. laurie died in the hospital the next morning. he began drinking to cope, and violet was practically forced to raise alice.
from the age of eleven to 17 alice was primarily raised by her sister. her father did some of the work, when he wasn’t drunk. these were the years when alice withdrew. she didn’t spend as much time with her sister, as she was working most of the time and going to school. alice was basically allowed to run rampant through the city. when she was home she was forced to listen to her father’s ramblings or worse. when he was drunk he mumbled about how the gallaghers were distantly related to steve rogers. he rambled about how his life wouldn’t have turned out so shit had the captain not been frozen in ice for 90 years. alice and violet never believed it, but neither of them wanted to hear it. alice began a life of petty crime.she was a criminal, technically but when her father’s drinking got bad she and her sister would break into hotels or just anywhere that they could feel safe in that wasn’t home. what she didn’t know was that she was on a watch list by the time she was fifteen. a s.h.i.e.l.d. watch list. petty criminals like her made great agents and often, if they showed promise, they were placed in training at the academy. shortly after she’d been selected to attend preliminary training at the academy, new york city was invaded by an army of chitarui and a god. the city was destroyed and they needed her more than ever.her training at the academy of operations was vigorous. she was part of a special class of promising young delinquents. her sister was at nursing school, and now that she she didn’t have to support alice financially, violet was able to get their father in a rehab program and live on her own. things were looking up for both sisters.

that was until the fall of shield. the academy fell to pieces only a year into her stint at the academy. she was forced to return home with her sister. she went into hiding with the rest of the former students and agents. well, not exactly hiding, she went back to public school. after all she was only seventeen. that didn’t last long. because of the secrecy of the ‘delinquent project’ at the academy, a few of the teachers agreed to train the students that were a part of it at an old s.s.r. compound on the long island sound.she finished her training at the age of nineteen and was almost sure that she’d have to fend for herself now, but after all, she was technically a spy and an agent of an organization that didn’t truly exist. but she didn’t have to fight for her life yet, she was hired to work at the new avengers facility as a member of the staff, one of the many who were working over time with the problems in sokovia. even after the accords, she stayed working at the facility. she was by far one of the youngest there and it often made her feel like she didn’t belong. she was the youngest at only 20 and an intelligence agent. sometimes she was surprised the other staff trusted her. but the work was steady and she got to see her sister practically whenever she wanted, even though she couldn’t ever tell her where she actually worked.when stark decided to bring spider-man onto the team and after the catastrophe with vulture, alice was reassigned. she would go undercover at midtown school of science and technology as a student. alice gallagher was now seventeen year old alice greene and she was sent to keep an eye on parker. she wasn’t supposed to make friends, just be a loner and make sure he didn’t get himself into too much trouble.following her semester at midtown, alice took on the mantle of argent angel, a vigilante in her home burrow of brooklyn. she had become unhappy with how the avengers and s.h.i.e.l.d. were running things and had been inspired by both spider-man and daredevil to become a vigilante and take matters into her own hands.
however she was forced to put her vigilante work on hold when she and what was left of the delinquent task force were called in to help in the search for the infinity stones. alice and the task force were also assigned to help with the evacuation of wakanda when thanos and his forces attacked. she was in wakanda when the decimation happened and watched as members of her team, those she’d been sent to help and many others turned to dust in front of her. when she returned home she found that her eldest sister had been dusted as well.during the five year span of time between thanos attack and the avenger’s attempt to bring everyone back using the infinity stones, alice took leave from s.h.i.e.l.d. and once again returned to her work as a vigilante, this time willing to use more lethal force if necessary. she’d been disillusioned by all the loss she’d experienced and had decided that those who still chose to commit crimes after half the population of the universe had just disappeared deserved a harsher punishment and she was willing to dole it out.

MARVEL VERSES

MAIN VERSE set in the mcu, default is before endgame, but i can do post endgame too !
PRE ENDGAME basically at any point before endgame from the moment alice joined s.h.i.e.l.d. to end game. this covers quite a bit of time and includes the nmcu.
ENDGAME TIME GAP the five years after the blip, alice has temporarily left s.h.i.e.l.d. and is most active as a vigilante known as the argent angel. she also began collecting information on uprisings and groups like the flagsmashers who became active after the blip.
POST ENDGAME after the blip is undone, alice has returned to s.h.i.e.l.d. however she is primarily on desk duty due to a combination of consequences for what she did during her temporary leave as a vigilante and a healing from a head injury sustained during her time in the battle against thanos and his forces. alice had begun going deaf in her left ear as a consequence of this head injury and she wasn't cleared for the field yet. alice began to help sam wilson and jaoquin torres with their research into the flagsmashers by providing them with any information she had. she strongly dislikes john walker.POST NWH / CIVILIAN LIFE alice remains on desk duty through the events of ffh and nwh, however she begins to hate not being in the field and feels like she can't do any good there anymore. she leaves s.h.i.e.l.d. on friendly terms, choosing to live life as a civilian for the first time since she was 17.
she leaves a line open though, an offer to go back to s.h.i.e.l.d. if they really needed her.FLAGSMASHER! ALICE set during the five year gap and after endgame, alice has joined the flagsmashers after her time as a vigilante in new york drew the attention of karli morgentau. she left the city and her mantle as argent angel behind to join them. upon learning that alice had been a s.h.i.e.l.d. agent, they were hesitant to trust her, but eventually alice gained their trust.
A NOTE in this verse, alice is one of the lucky few to take the super soldier serum as provided to her.DIRECTOR! ALICE alice quickly rose through the ranks within s.h.i.e.l.d., having become the leader of the delinquent task force by the time she was nineteen. she stayed in that position for a long time, until the members began to splinter leaving the organization or leaving the task force for another branch. alice maintained the task force for as long as she could before she began to campaign for a second class. she wanted to begin recruiting from juvys and jails, recruiting qualified people from the 'delinquent' population of the country. the point of the task force had been to give teenagers and young adults with criminal records another chance at life. she intended to continue this mission. when the second class joined the s.h.i.e.l.d. academy, alice oversaw that even as she continued her work as an agent. at the age of twenty nine, alice became deputy director of s.h.i.e.l.d. under nick fury when commander hill stepped down from the position. and when nick fury resigned from the position, agent alice gallagher took over.EARTH-65 the only comics based part of the multiverse i write for because i don't have much knowledge of the comics outside of having read the spider-gwen comics!
in this universe, alice never got chosen to attend the s.h.i.e.l.d. academy of operations and join the delinquent task force. she lived with her father and sister after her mother’s death despite her father’s rampant alcoholism and occasional verbal and physical abuse. alice spent a lot of time on the streets growing up, occasionally selling drugs and really doing whatever it took to survive. in order to get out of the house and the dangerous situation she’d been put in she faked her way into the army and actually made it quite far before she was discovered to have faked her identity and sent home dishonorably. after her dishonorable discharge, she began taking mercenary work before becoming one of matt murdock/kingpin’s personal favorite people to do his dirty work.VENOM! ALICE also known as the original version of alice before her rewrite as a shield agent, alice’s venom! verse goes as follows. at seventeen, a young alice gallagher broke into an abandoned construction site looking for an empty wall to do some street art. she ignored all the signs telling her to keep out, that it was hazardous. she got her art done, but she also came in contact with a host for a clone of the venom symbiote. she would become the next host. following this, she’d have to learn to deal with her newfound companion and it’s cravings as well as deal with the fact that the symbiote inside her was being hunted by the people who made it.

i acknowledge the mcu canon up until endgame after that i diverge.
in my portrayal, steve does not stay with peggy carter and live out his life with her. he does still give up the title of captain america to sam wilson.
the events of the falcon and the winter soldier are canon to this blog. (as are loki and wandavision, however unless otherwise plotted alice has no involvement in those)
i will not acknowledge skrull! fury and and hill in spider-man: far from home. thank u.
